*sniff*

Well, our big boy is at school! We all got up, had a good breakfast, and survived the photo shoot. Charlie seemed very excited, and never got upset at all. He was so excited to wear his backpack (he calls it Rescue Pack, from Diego). Here is the conversation we had walking into the school:
Mommy: "Okay, Charlie, Mommy and Daddy are going to leave for a bit so you can play, but we will be right back".
Charlie: "You leaving me HERE?!"
Mommy: "Um, yeah, but just for a little bit. Mommies can't stay at school."
Charlie: (with a big understanding smile) "OH!! Fanks!!"
Once in his room, CF made a beeline for a toy school bus (his one disappointment this morning...no bus) and the teacher showed him where his cubby is. He barely looked up as we left. I, of course, was almost in tears walking out. I am so proud of him! And us, too. It was fun to spend this morning together, Adam and I. We have done so much together, and figuring out this parenting thing with him is more fun than I ever thought it would be.
More updates later! :)

Last minute jitters?
This face cracked me up!
