Trash the Dress!

I remember being at Julie and Tyler's wedding, one of my favorites of all time, and telling them about this photography trend I had seen online that I was really wanting to do. Julie loved the idea, and about 18 months later, I had my chance! Jess and I had such a fun day with these guys. This girl is a trooper and never complained about the freezing water or the half mile hike back to the car, soaking wet! Julie's mom was also with us, and she was such a good sport. Here are a few of my favorites.
OH, and I learned a lot more about Julie today...she's a Twilight addict who likes Obama. My kinda gal!

.

Thanks, Jess! Oh, did you leave the car running?
;)

Nice pics! It looks like you really trashed that dress! Did they try salvaging it or just toss it in the nearest dumpster??

Well, we thought about having it cleaned, just to see what would happen, but I think they might have tossed it on the way home. We did have to ball it up inside out to put it in thier car.
I have a couple of shots of the dress at the very end of the day I am going to post eventually!
Thanks!

AMAZING!!!

I love this trend!

If they were going to clean it just to see what happened then it probably wasn't worth it! We trashed one earlier in the year. It was nowhere near as dirty as that one but the quote for cleaning was as much as the second hand value - and there was no guarantee it would work! It was easy to find out the second hand value - there were lots of identical ones on ebay...

Haha...I actually thought for two seconds that it would be cool to collect all the ones I end up trashing and having some kind of show one day. But really, where do you keep them??

Hmm... Maybe you could collect them all together and have a big bonfire, but they might be a bit stinky by then!

The one you trashed looks very similar style to one we did! Same make?

Those are great! That is a beautiful dress. Not sure who made Julie's.
I really love the ones with the Coke machine! I hope to get some more of these...it's a lot of fun.

Yeah, it was a nice dress, but the cost of cleaning was exhorbitant!!
